What is a Blog Carnival?

A blog carnival consists of blog post links from different bloggers. The links will consist of a particular topic scheduled for that week. From time to time and at different intervals, one of these bloggers will act as "host" of all those blog post links, thus the term "carnival".

Who decides on the topic?

The host for that particular period will decide on the topic.

How do I join?

You must first be a follower of this site, by clicking on the FOLLOW link on the sidebar.

Then shoot an email to mytcbloggers@gmail.com and provide your name, your email address and your blog's link for evaluation.

HOSTING GUIDELINES

Any member of My Team Carnival can host the topic for the week. You can ask to be relisted to this group, provided you also meet our listing criteria. Please refer to our Contact Form to be listed.

What must one do to host?

Email this site and let us know of your intention to become the host. Please provide us with the date as to when you can host the site (usually every Mondays) and the topic you would like bloggers to discuss.

As host, you must then coordinate with this site's administrators for the list of submissions. Read through the Submission Guidelines below for the process. Once you have the list, you must then put it up on your blog, on the date you specified.

Where there are no particular hosts for a certain period, any of this site's administrators will step in for the job.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Any member of My Team Carnival can submit a blog entry for the topic for the week. You can ask to be relisted to this group, provided you also meet our listing criteria. Please refer to our Contact Form to be listed.

Please take note of the following rules for submission of blog posts to the carnival:

• Your post must be on topic.
• Your post must be very recent, unless the host specifies otherwise (e.g. Posting your best blog post for the year).
• Your post must not be resubmitted to any other carnival topic of the week.
• Your post must be concise and comprehensively written. We are not aiming for Nobel Winning blogs, just something that's easy to read --- something that entertains or something to learn from.

Blog post submissions must be in every SUNDAYof the week. Please use our submission form so that we can collate your data. Post submitted after Sunday will no longer be included in the carnival. We will then be giving the host all of your submissions. The host is then required to post this on his/her blog by Monday.

Schedules may be adjusted if the deadlines are set on a holiday.

Once your blog is included in the carnival, you are required to link back to the host's entry of it.
